JoSHUA BANNISTER
Born in the UK, Josh has been honing his musical skills since the age of 8. Learning multiple instruments from an early age has given Josh the advantage of applying his musical knowledge across various disciplines. An accomplished professional musician, sound engineer, DJ, and instructor of all of the above, Josh is ready to lead, assist or support you in anything related to the Junior Music Program.
MEET JOSH
PROGRAM PATHWAY: DRUMS
1.
BEGINNER
The students will learn the basic rock beats and hand rudiments that will enable them to move around the drum set with facility. Also we will learn the basic music notes parallel to the drum notation and eventually being able to read drum rhythms.
2.
INTERMEDIATE
After completing the beginners face we will able to learn different music styles such as Funk and blues establishing the foundation of drumming . Also we will learn coordination exercises to improve our timing and expression over the drum set.
3.
ADVANCED
Having the two levels completed , here we will learn how to use the skills developed in the previews levels to increase our vocabulary hence improvise and create our own drum rhythms.
PROGRAM PATHWAY : PIANO
1.
BEGINNER
Your child will be able to play C, G, D, and A Major scales, to play a chord, to identify a major and minor chord & to read basic notation.
2.
INTERMEDIATE
Your child will be will be able to play all 12 major & minor scales, to play a chord progression, to improvise over a simple chord progression & to read advanced notation.
3.
ADVANCED
Your child will learn advanced chords (7th, 9th), learn how to comfortably play in odd time signatures, learn a basic classical repertoire & will be able to improvise over more complex chord progressions
PROGRAM PATHWAY : Guitar
1.
BEGINNER
Your child will learn body and hand position, simple strumming, frets and fingering, simple Chords progression.
2.
INTERMEDIATE
Your child will be will learn to play simple melodies, What is a scale, chord progressions, songs, strumming and rhythms , jamming
3.
ADVANCED
Your child will learn to play more advanced melodies & chord progressions, and will be able to play in odd time signatures

ASSESSMENT
Before we start, we carefully assess each child’s specific skills & performance in their chosen discipline. This helps us know exactly where they belong.
PROGRAMmING
These programs are designed in advance for every level by experienced, ex-elite coaches. And you, as parents, can see what challenges are coming up in each week of term and which objectives your child will be working on.
PROGRESS TRACKING
We then track the development of their skills throughout the term, following which ones are improving—and more importantly, which ones aren’t. This honest and detailed approach helps them improve much more consistently, and perfect skills that last a lifetime.
EVALUATION
At the end of each term, we can give them clear targets to focus on, allowing you to help them hone some skills at home, or in 1-1 classes with our specialists. Eventually, when they’re ready, they progress to the next level—or are reallocated to the class that’s best for them.
